Day 1: Arrival to Bucharest Airport

Transfer to Hotel in Bucharest and overnight.

Day 2: Transylvania Castle Tour

On this full day tour from Bucharest your guide will take you to Sinaia, Bran and Brasov to see the culture of Transylvania and Walachia. After a two-hour drive you will arrive at Sinaia and visit the monastery built in the 17th century by Mihail Cantacuzino, a ruling prince of Walachia, after his pilgrimage to Mount Sinai in Egypt. Next stop is Peles Castle, one of the most important museums in Romania where one can admire the beautiful architecture of the Castle, as well as the furniture and ornamental objects, carpets, tapestry, sculptures, paintings and rich collections of weapons of the 15th-19th centuries. Then your journey will continue to Bran to visit the famous Bran Castle (related to Dracula’s legend). The Castle had a strategic mission being on the border between Transylvania and Walachia. It was governed by the King of Hungary Sigismund of Luxembourg, the Romanian Voievodes Mircea cel Batran and eventually Vlad Tepes (Dracula). The castle got its fame from Dracula’s legend written in 1897 by Bram Stoker and later on made into a film by Francis Ford Coppola. After the tour of the castle, visit the medieval center of Brasov with the impressive Black Church, the largest church in Europe between Vienna and Istanbul. After 3 hours’ drive you will be back to your hotel in Bucharest.

Day 3: City Tour

You will be picked up at your hotel and taken to the most famous sites in Bucharest including the Triumph Arch, the Village Museum, the Victoriei Square, the Revolution Square, and the Palace of Parliament. Duration of the tour is 4 hours.

Day 4: Leisure

Free day.

Day 5: Departure  

Transfer from the hotel in Bucharest to airport.

Booking Procedure:

In order to proceed with any booking, a copy of your passport is needed along with 30% down payment and the visa cost if required. Future payments will be agreed as per package rules.

Package Cancellation:

45 – 75 days prior to departure date: 30% of the total cost of the package

45 – 30 days prior to departure date: 50% of the total cost of the package

30 days until departure date: 100% of the total cost of the package

Important:

Above cancellation policy does not apply in case of non-refundable bookings. Full payment must be submitted in this case upon booking.

In case of visa rejection, visa fees and above cancellation rules still applies, however we will do our best to minimize and waive the charges, but it cannot be guaranteed.

As for Airline cancellation, each airline has its own changes and cancellations fees depending on the carrier, class booked, routing and travelling date. These conditions will be communicated to you upon confirming the package and will be applied as per above criteria.
